685056, made in Germany, Leica 50mm F3.5 retractable lens in M39 mount I could not find the serial number anywhere of the lens body. Directions for Using Leica Manual (53 pages). Chrome front and rear lens caps and body cap are also included (Not sure whether any of them is authentic Leica cap). A nicely built wooden box is included for protection and collection purpose. A nice black leather belt is also included. Cosmetically, the body is rated in near mint condition. The retractable ranger finder lens is in Excellent condition with some indents on the area of aperture markings. The lens barrel shows some user signs. The chrome body cap and lens caps are in clean condition but not sure whether they're authentic Leica products. The Directions for Using Leica booklet is in usable vintage condition with some tears, creases, markings and transparent tape was used to enforce the binding. The included wooden box is in mint condition with some cotton for packing. Optically, after serious inspection with the aid of a LCD flash light, I could only detect some tiny dusts and short thin threads inside the lens system. After inspection, I find this lens system is one of my cleanest lens collections. However, it does still have some tiny dusts and threads. This lens is the only one in my collection that does not show normal heavy haze though I detected one small area which might be the beginning of the haze formation. Mechanically, all the functions of this Leica IIIf Red Dial body had been checked and were found to work excellently as designed. The retractable lens extends and retracts smoothly without dragging. Ranch finder is bright and accurate. Fast and slow shutter speeds work as they should. One should study the manual thoroughly before checking both the range finder and shutter speeds. The invoice may include the custom duty of individual country. The cost will be much higher than the price charged by GSP.
