Early vintage model without the front swing feature. Camera is in Ex-/User or 7 of 10 cosmetic condition. Lots of marks around from prior use, but the camera is still in good user condition. All movements seem to be working correctly. Focusing of the rails is smooth.

Some of the control knobs are vintage, and a few have been replaced with newer Deardorff knobs. Camera has a replacement bellows on it that is light tight, and in good working condition. The ground glass seems to be a replacement glass, and has a couple of marks on it. Not original top lens board holding clip on the front of the camera.

Replacement non Deardorff after market leather carrying handle on this camera. This camera is untested, but everything seems to be in working order. Nice vintage 8x10 Deardorff field camera. 8x10 Turner-Reich Gundlach 12 f/7 triple convertible lens. Made in USA in Rochester, NY.

Lens does have some small cleaning marks on the front, and some visible lens separation inside that is common for the Turner-Reich triple convertible lenses. This should not affect your photos. The image from this lens when looking through the ground glass is clear and crisp. Pretty clear optics for this vintage lens with no fungus or mildew inside. This triple convertible lens that can also be used at 19" and 25" focal lengths as well.

Apertures from F/7 to F/64. Shutter speeds are from 1/150th to 1 sec. Shutter seems to be firing ok, but accuracy on a vintage shutter like this cannot be guaranteed. The B and T settings on this Acme shutter have to be triggered with the lever on the shutter.

All of the other shutter speeds seem to work ok with a cable release. This vintage user 8x10 N. Deardorff camera kit includes the camera, 12 F/7 Turner-Reich normal lens, padded Talon carrying case, Burke and James black focusing cloth, one extra un-drilled after market lens board, cable release, and two(2) vintage 8x10 wood sheet film holders.
