1941 Kodak EKTRA 35mm Rangefinder Camera with Ektar 50mm f1.9 Lens

Here is a rare 1940's Kodak Ektra 35mm rangefinder camera. This was Kodaks top of the line camera in the 1940's, but was too expensive, so it was never a commercial success. It is quite rare today.

It comes with its Ektar 50mm f1.9 lens. The camera looks very nice for display but I can not get the shutter to fire. Some of the leather is flaking off on the left side of the top.

The rest of the leather on the camera looks good. The lens has internal haze. The focus works, but is stiff to turn on the camera. The rangefinder window is hard to see through. I think I saw the image aligning but it was hard to tell.
